Jeremy C. Lundgren's Obituary
Jeremy C. Lundgren, USAF, Veteran, of Camden Wyoming, Delaware, died unexpectedly on March 31, with his mother, stepfather, and sister by his side. He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, in July 1990, and attended Tyngsboro schools. Upon graduation from Tyngsboro High School, he entered the United States Air Force. While stationed in Dyess, Texas, he began his impressive career in Fire Protection Services.
Jeremy served honorably in the Air Force for over 11 years. During that time, he spent eight years as a firefighter and three years as an Airman Leadership School Instructor. Additionally, during his tenure on active duty, Jeremy deployed twice to the Middle East and once to South Korea. He received numerous awards and medals, to include a Meritorious Service Medal and three Air Force Commendation Medals. Upon completion of his military service as a Master Sergeant, Jeremy continued to serve his country as a civilian firefighter at Dover Air Force Base, in which he served as a Station Chief and a Fire Inspector. He was an inspiring mentor and had an immense positive impact on military and civilian members all around the world.
As a youngster, he enjoyed many adventures and Christmas Eves with his grandparents and his several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and fun trips to New Hampshire with his parents to visit his “Grammy and Grampy in the mountains.” As a teen he enjoyed playing sports, especially football and lacrosse, and getting together with his many friends.
Jeremy will be missed forever by everyone who knew him, especially his two children, Kinleigh Christine and Mason Leonard, and their mother Megan Gilbert (USAF), his parents Gregory Lundgren of Maine and Lisa and Michael Chagnon (USAF, Retired), and his sister Amanda Lundgren (USAF, Veteran), all of Camden Wyoming. He leaves behind his beloved grandparents, John and Leslie Iannuzzo of Lowell and Regina and Geoffrey Potter of Weymouth, Massachusetts. He was predeceased by his aunt, Christine Iannuzzo, and grandparents, Anne Iannuzzo and Charles Lundgren.
Jeremy also leaves his best friend, Mr. Ali Bueshi, and his BFF cousin, Kyle Courtney, as well as all his Delaware friends and the “village” he made for himself and his family.
