James E. Smith, 86, Dover, passed away Friday August 2, 2019 at Delaware Veterans Home Milford.He was born on August 19, 1932 in Drayton, SC to the late Rostand and Roberta (James) Smith.He was a member of Grand Lodge of Maine, Rising Virtupe Lodge #10 A.F.& A.M. He was a USAF MSGT Ret. 20 years of service. He enjoyed playing pinochle, dancing and singing. He is preceded in death by his wife Anita and daughter Cheryl Seals.He is survived by Sons, James W. Smith of , NM., Daniel Smith of , TX. Daughter, Lisa Greenley of , DE. Sisters, Faye Gregg of , SC., Betty Graham of , SC. 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grand children. A special close family friend Carol Skadsberg. Services will be held Friday Aug. 9, at 1 PM at Trader Funeral Home 12 Lotus Street Dover. Friends may call from 11 AM till time of service.
