James O Plumley III's Obituary
James O. Plumley III of Dover, Delaware died on May 24, 2019 surrounded by family and friends at home.
Born in Utica, New York to the late Mr. and Mrs. James Plumley II. Jim is survived by his wife Marykyle and his daughters: Jennifer Mears (Brodan Mears), and Lisa Plumley. Stepchildren: Drew, Dillon, and Marcelle Marier. His brothers: Dr. Alan Plumley (Carol) and Ralph Plumley (Diane); Sister Kathryn Parsons, and several nieces and nephews. One granddaughter, Kennedi Mears and step granddaughter Mia Moriarty.
Jim enjoyed many activities such as fishing, boating, bicycling and music. He worked for many years as a draftsman/designer, but most recently as a Facilities Manager for Grace Presbyterian Church.
There will be a Gathering of Friends at 3pm, Sunday June 2, 2019 at Grace Presbyterian Church: 350 McKee Rd. Dover, DE 19904. The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 4pm. Burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Delaware Hospice would be appreciated: 16 Polly Drummond Shopping Center, 2nd Floor. Newark, DE 19711.
