James A. Ditmars' Obituary
James A. Ditmars, 85, Dover, passed away Sunday November 11, 2018 at Capital Nursing Center Dover.
He was born on July 6, 1933 in Chicago, IL to Edward and Enid Ditmars.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Marcia A. Gardiner.
Jim met his beautiful bride, Hilde Dina Liesel Schuck during the War in Frankfurt, Germany. They were married on February 18, 1959. Jim retired from the United States Air Force and the City of Dover Water Department.
He loved to fish, repair clocks, and was an avid reader.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Hilde, and his special friend, Pat Braun.
Services will be private. Mr. Ditmars will be buried at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro, Delaware.
