So sorry for your loss. My family and I have many fond memories of Pops through all the years of our kids' growing up - from little league to high school and PTA in between. He and your mom were a joy to be around, whether at a school meeting or sitting with him at a football game. I will never forget sitting with him at the Sallies football game - that was probably the coldest event I ever attended. But Pops was right there, cheering on Aaron and the rest of the team. Bill was a friend that shared sporting events, football ,baseball, nascar racing at the Monster Mile that Bill worked for many years.I enjoyed talking to him some stories were true,some were streching the truth a bit but we always ended up laughing at each others stories.Bill loved his family very much and followed the grandsons growing up.He would be there to cheer them on in all the sports they played.I had the honor of being Bill's personal barber for many years I watched the hair turn gray. I'm going to miss all the things we did together. He was a true friend
