Hilde D Ditmars' Obituary
Dover, Hilde D. Ditmars, 82, passed away Dec. 6, 2020 at Capitol Health Care where she had beed a resident since 2013. Mrs. Ditmars was born March 15, 1938 in Frankfurt, Germany, daughter to the late Kilian and Margarete Schuck. Hide met her future husband James A Ditmars, during the war in Frankfurt, Germany. They were married on February 18, 1954. The United States Air Force relocated them to Dover, DE. Hilde retired from the City of Dover as a receptionist and an Account Clerk in the Water/Eswer Section of Customer Service after 25 years. She was in the American-German Club, and enjoyed her many trips back to Germany to visits dear friends. In addition to her parents, Hilde was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Ditmars, and brother, Warner Schuck. She is survived by her special friend Pat Braun. Services will be private. Mrs. Ditmars burial will be beside her husband at the Delaware Veterans Memorial cemetery in Millsboro, DE. Letters of condolences may be sent to www.traderfh.com
