Hilda B Krupka's Obituary
Hilda B. Krupka, age 82, passed away on July 24, 2015 at Westminster Village Health Center after a long illness. She was born on October 8, 1932 in Dover, Delaware, the youngest of thirteen children of Benjamin and Elizabeth Burrows. Hilda was raised on the family farm near Cowgills Corner and attended Dover public schools. She worked for Playtex Corporation prior to becoming a postal clerk at the Hartly Post Office where she was employed for thirty years. Hilda was a longtime member of the Hartly Methodist Church and a lifetime member of the Hartly Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed traveling, camping, and dancing. Most of all, Hilda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, Hilda was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Gibbons, Rodney S. Hutchins and William Biddle, eleven brothers and sisters, grandson Christopher Wilson, and great grandson Hunter Brooks. She is survived by her husband of nineteen years, Edward Krupka, Sr., her sister, Catherine Miller, her children, Juanita Wilson and her husband Ted, Debbie Gibbons, Linda Little and her husband Stan, Carol Hutchins and her husband Mark, Rodney Hutchins and his wife Michelle, and her step-daughter, Susan Neidig her husband Cliff, her grandchildren, Joshua Wilson, Mark Gibbons, Melissa Brooks, Amber Miller, Jason Stover, Sarah Scotton, Mary Beth Hutchins, Allison Bumgarner, fourteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will begin Wed. at 11:00 a.m. Hartly Methodist Church, Hartly, Delaware where friends and family may begin visitation at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be at Sharon Hills Cemetery.
