i just randomly thought of herb today, i remember always going to his house with my grandpa ralph and he would always have m&ms on his table. i miss him dearly.
II remember Herb bringing his wife to dialysis faithfully each Mon, Wed and Friday. We always joke a bit while he was there..My wife and I send our thoughts and prayers.

There are so many fond memories of Herbie and his wonderful sense of humor. There were the random conversations as I stopped into the Post Office to get the mail as a kid, to serving him and Doris meals at Henrietta's, to watching his grandkids as the crew enjoyed dances at the fire hall, to holiday visits once I left the area. One of my favorite comments from him was his assuring me he was going to get me the same Christmas gift he got me the year before, just a different color. Ha. I never did get a gift.
