Helen M. Targonski,91, formerly of Dover,DE died Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Atlantic Shores Rehab & Health Center in Millsboro, DE. She was born in Shamokin, PA on April 1, 1922, a daughter of the late Adam and Anna (Knurowska) Madrak. On September 1, 1945 she married Adam Targonski, who preceded her in death on May 4, 1991. Helen was a graduate of Coal Township High School in Shamokin, PA. She was a homemaker and also worked as a store clerk for various department stores in her early years. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and working in her garden. Surviving are three Daughters, Jeanette Baumbach and husband Robert of State College, PA, Nancy Mills and husband David of Carlisle, PA and Miriam Targonski of Dagsboro, DE and her companion Scott Clapper of Bethany Beach, DE. Two Granddaughters , Bethany McGee (Timothy) of Columbia, MD and Camille Kersey of Dagsboro, DE. One Grandson, Brandon Baumbach (Rachel) of Fairfax, VA and two
great grandchildren, Keira McGee and Colston Baumbach. Mass of Christian Service will be Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at 10 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover, DE. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery Camden DE. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions maybe made to the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter 399 Market Street Suite 102 Philadelphia, PA 19106 www.alz.org or to a charity of your choice.
