DOVER, DE. — Heidi M Barnes, of Dover, DE, passed away April 10, 2026, in BayHealth Hospital in Dover, DE. She was 51.
She was born April 25, 1974, in Wilmington, DE, the daughter of Thomas L. Mousley and Marlene Huber Mousley.
Heidi operated her own cleaning business for many years before getting a job as a manager for Amazon.
She enjoyed life and did everything with enthusiasm and always looked forward to tomorrow. Shopping was her favorite hobby, and she always had a cup of coffee in her hand.
She is survived by her parents Thomas and Marlene Mousley; her husband, Robert T. Barnes Jr. of Dover, her sons John T Jones Jr. of Dover, and Richard L Trincia 3rd of Bear; her daughter, Ashley N. Mahan of Washington, DC, her stepdaughter, Zoey Barnes and her stepson, Robert Todd Barnes 3rd ; her sisters Kimberly Mousley and Danielle Pino and a brother Robert Mahan and his spouse, Jon Taylor; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
