I was a small child when I first met the Shockley’s. We met through Esther and Juanita Kimble( my Aunt) .
My family met Esther through working at restaurants together.Esther also neighbors to my Aunt Nita’s ex husband’s sister. I remember us all going over to visit with my Mom and Dad, My Aunt Juanita and her boys Gordon, Dave and Ron ( my cousins) The Shockley’s, The Fultz’s, The Johnson’s Wilhams Family.
She then became Aunt Esther. We were Family.
Remember all the good times we had with their kids, Claude, Richard and Jeff. I remember Aunt Juanita, Aunt Esther going to see Maurice at the shows he performed in.
Good times those ladies had. Loved to listen and dance. Those were good times.
My most cherish moments will be all of us working at Village Pizza #3 (where the old Shuckers was located) Auntie Esther I will never forget your beautiful smile, your great laughter, her funny wit. Most of all will greatly miss you. Heartfelt Condolences to her Family and Friends.

Momma Esther was the next in line to my mother of one of the most loving ladies in my life. Esther was there so many times in my life and my families life to keep us to look at the positive things in life we have, even after the loss of my two brothers, and my Parents.
This lady will “ALWAYS” have a place of LOVE & MEMORIES for everything she help me get through in life.
I wish other children had parents today like us Boys and my sister had growing up.

I had the honor and privilege of having Esther as my mother-in-law for 22+ years, with her often calling me her "daughter". I'll miss you mom. You'll always be in my heart.
To the family, was sorry to read of Mrs Shockley's passing.
I remember her from the late 70s early 80s. When she and Mrs Brown came to Patty's Cut &Curl in Camden.
They where like sisters and had great times tog.
