Gerald “Wayne” Gosch 68, passed away November 18, at Kent General Hospital. Gerald was born October 9, 1948 to the Late Mabel Shockley and Louis J. Gosch Jr. in Dover, DE. Gerald was a Veteran who served in the army and fought in the Vietnam war. He worked as a mechanic at the Dover Air Force Golf Course for thirty-seven years.
He was preceded in death by his brother Mike Gosch. Gerald is survived by his wife of 38 years, Rose; three sons, Justin Wayne, Wayne Benjamin, wife Krystal of Dover, Gerald Wayne Jr. and wife Lynn Of Seaford; daughter Selena Rose Webber; nine grandchildren, Kassidy, Destiny, Eric Webber, Ivi, Viktoria, Wayne II Gosch, Brittany, David, Rebecca Gosch.
He is survived by sister Mabel and husband Chris Bean of Maine, sister-in-law P.J Gosch, his brothers Johnny and wife Brenda of Bowers Beach, Harold Shockley of Florida, Eddie, Kenny and Bruce Shockley of Bowers Beach.
He will be remembered as a loving and great husband, father and grandfather, and will be sorely missed.
Services will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Trader Funeral Home 12 Lotus St. Dover, DE 19901. Memorial service is at 3:00 pm. Family and friends may call one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Trader Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
