Franklin Dear Sr (Little Buddy) 68 of Dover, De passed away November 12, 2023 surrounded by his family. Buddy was born August 6, 1955 to the late Harry& Sara Bell Dear
Buddy was a New England Patriots & Kansas City Chiefs fan & loved Nascar racing. His driver was Chase Elliott. Buddy worked many jobs throughout life starting as a teenager mowing grass at Lake side cemetery and Blue Coat Inn, then to National cup company where he was in mechanic, Colonial Cleaners/ABM Cleaning Company Where he worked alongside his father for many years. Once retired he went to work for the Amish until he fully retired to enjoy life at home doing what he loved relaxing watching Young and the restless, Bolding and the beautiful along with many of his other favorite shows.
An addition to his parents he is also proceeded in death by his best friend and grandmother Laura Wheatley.
Buddy left behind 3 children to cherish his memory Franklin Dear Jr of Horntown Va, Lisa R Dear of Horntown VA, Amber L Dear of Dover Delaware. Also left to cherish memory his siblings. Harry Dear Jr of Elkton MD, Donald Dear of Dover De, Theresa Wilson Frederica De, Freida Edgar Dover De, Brenda O'Neal Magnolia De and Deborah Wright Dover De and 7 Grandchildren.
Buddy also leaves behind a special companion who he loved dearly his dog smoke.
Instead of flowers their family asked that you donate send donations to trader funeral home to help with services.
Services will be Wed. Nov. 22, from 5 to 7 PM with the service at 6:30 at Trader Funeral Home 12 Lotus Street Dover. Letters of condolences may be sent to http://www.traderfh.com
