Age 80, Camden, Delaware
Fay Jeanette Uhey, age 80, of Camden, DE passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 in Fort Myers, FL. She was born on May 22, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA to Ida and Harry B. Felty.
Mrs. Uhey was a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School Class of 1955. She worked at the Village Inn Restaurant for twenty-nine years, and was the co-owner of the Rabbit Hutch. She was a member of the Camden-Wyoming Moose Lodge, and a Lifetime member of the VFW in Ft. Myers. Also she loved dancing and never miss a
Saturday night dance.
Mrs. Uhey is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Roger E. Uhey of Florida; one brother Raymond Felty of Smyrna, DE; two sisters, Marie Ebert of Camden, DE and June Sutton (Tom) of Casscoe, AR; daughter Dawn Newman (Richard) of Dover, DE; two son’s Dale Uhey (Pat) of Felton, DE and Scott Uhey (Ruth) of Camden, DE. Seven grandchildren: Jaime Newman (Jimmy Hever) of Florida; Leslie Burnette (George) of Washington; Peter Uhey (Lisa) of Delaware; Ashley Carter (Howard) of Delaware; Ashton Uhey (Amy) of Alabama; Grace Uhey of Delaware; Maxwell Uhey of Delaware. Six great-grandchildren: Liam and Lincoln Uhey of Alabama; George and Sophia Uhey of Delaware; Abby and James Hever of South Carolina.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. and friends may call one hour before at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Locus Street, Dover, DE 19901.
