Esther Elizabeth Sapp's Obituary
Esther Elizabeth Sapp Esther Elizabeth Sapp passed away on August 10th while in hospice care at home while surround by family. She was 81. Formerly of Lake City, FL, Esther was a born in Kennedyville, MD on 9/22/1939. Esther was preceded in death by mother Maude Elizabeth McGuire, her father William Henry McGuire, her late husband William Walter Sapp, and her brothers Johnny McGuire and Henry McGuire. More recently she was a long time resident of Dover, DE. Esther enjoyed reading, Family Feud, spending time with family and baking. She is survived by her brother James Edward McGuire of Smyrna, DE, her four sons Keith (Jenni) Diaz of St. Mary’s GA, Kenny (Diana) Diaz of Wilmington, DE, George (Ana) Diaz of Dover, DE, and Kevin (Janet) Stevenson of Gilsum, NH. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Viewing hours will be at 11 am followed by a celebration of life at 12 noon on Tuesday August 17 at Trader Funeral Home at 12 Lotus St Dover, DE. Burial will be immediately following the service at Sharon Hills Cemetery 2829 Sharon Hill Rd Dover, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Delaware Hospice at 911 S. Dupont Hwy Dover, DE 19901 in Esther’s name.
