Sorry to hear about Denny. He was a good guy. I always liked working with him at Kent Center.

One story that I still love to tell and it is all truthful. DC and I were working midnight shift one night when we got a 911 call from a woman at a local college. I asked the woman what the problem was and she said she wanted to report someone with something in their throat. Very apprehensive about answering any question I asked her where the person was and she said it was her. DC looked at me with a big question mark on his face. I continued talking to her and I asked her if she was choking and she said no. So here came the big question. What do you think is in your throat and she didn't answer. I asked her a second time and after some hesitation said "a condom". DC almost dropped the phone laughing and had to mute his phone. So to push it further I almost asked her how it got there but decided maybe I shouldn't. We laughed about that for a long time and I still tell that story today. DC did send an ambulance and she was ok with nothing in her throat.
Dave Grygo, DC, and myself went fishing one day. We were bailing trout when we got boarded by the Coast Guard. Dave didn't own the boat and after a while we were checked out ok. Just as the CG was getting off our boat Dave asked him what would happen if the boat was stolen. After a lot of explanation he left and DC and I told Dave if we ended up in jail in New Jersey we would beat him! Loved working with Denney!
My deepest condolences for your loss. I was honored to work with Denny and call him a friend. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I now we were cousin's but I always called you Uncle Denny and was very proud to. I loved going to the horse races all these years and the special times when you would come see moms horse race. You were always there no matter what family event it was, you and your smile are going to be greatly missed. Thanks for all the great memories and say hi to mom for me. Love ya
As we live our lives and set our goals and achieve our mile stones in the end its the legacy that you leave behind that matters. Legacy is more than our children, its who we were, the differences we made and the love and kindness we shared with others.
Denny Clark will always be thought of as a kind and loving person. He made all of us better just by being around him. He was a leader who always reached down and picked you up when you needed it and could listen as well as he gave advice. He was my friend and I am a better man because God gave me the opportunity to be part of Denny Clarks legacy. Until we meet again, you will forever live in me.
