Daniel Glenn Moore's Obituary
Daniel ‘Danny’ Glen Moore (Dover) was born on August 6, 1951 to Kathleen Wiseman Moore and Donald Moore (Camden). He attended Magnolia School, Caesar Rodney, and Kent VoTech (now known as Polytech) with a focus in Electronics. His career repairing TVs for Firestone led to a position with Motorola repairing radios. He worked for Motorola for many years before starting his own business, Magnum Electronics. This two-way radio communications business serviced fire departments, the Coast Guard, police, paramedics, EMS stations, farms, schools, hospitals, with many longtime customers throughout Maryland and Delaware. After many years, he sold Magnum Electronics and returned his first loves- his family and farm. He loved riding his 1969 Harley Davidson Shovelhead, his Shelby Mustang, as well as enjoying hunting, fishing, and working on various projects. But his greatest joy was raising his daughters, Brett and Dani, with his treasured wife, Beverly. He passed away on January 3, 2025 and is now reunited with his beloved parents. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Surguy Moore (Dover), his daughters Brett Allisson Moore (Dover) and Dani Nicole Moore (Mechanicsburg), sister Dona Morhman (Merritt), brother David Moore (Debra), sister- in-laws Bonnie Valeski and Stacy Wooters, brother-in-laws Dan Surguy and Shaun Surguy, many nieces and nephews, closest friends John Bartsch, John O’Neal, and Jeff Vadakin, and his dog Mo. He will be dearly missed.
Memorial service will be Friday Jan. 24, at 6 PM at Trader Funeral Home Dover and friends may call 1 hour before.
