Christopher Ralph Papen's Obituary
Christopher Ralph Papen, 61, Wyoming, passed away Tuesday December 17, 2013 at Delaware Home & Hospital for the Chronically Smyrna.
He was born on February 15, 1952 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Howard and Patricia Rosania Papen.
Chris attended the Holy Cross Schools, graduated from Caesar Rodney High School and attended Wesley College majoring in music. He loved all kinds of music, epically rock-n-roll and particularly that of the Beatles and Santana. During the early 70's, he helped establish the band called "Colour" in which he was lead guitarist. Chris also was a die hard "Phillies" baseball fan.
He is survived by Sister, Lucie (Andy) Hastings, Nieces, Amanda (Jim) Powell, Michelle (Chuck) Manuszak, Nephew, Howard (Kim) Hastings, grand Nephews and Nieces, Kayla, Audrey, Kole, Kira, Corinne, Rocky.
Remembrance Services will be held Sunday 12/22/2013 1:30 PM at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, DE Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park Dover, DE
Friends may also call Sunday from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover.
The family request that memorial contributions be given to the Kent County A.S.P.C.A.
