Charlotte M Hunt's Obituary
Charlotte M. Hunt, 86, Dover, passed away Wednesday August 31, 2016 at KGH Bay Health Dover.
She was born on March 25, 1930 and the first baby born at Kent General Hospital in Dover, DE to the late Archie and Elsa Rosengren Mitchell.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Camden since 1961, has served her church as a licensed lay reader, chalice bearer, altar guild member and delegate to annual convention of the Episcopal Diocese. She has served CWU in Dover for many years on the executive committee. She was an member of the League of Women Voters of Greater Dover and served as president from 1966-1970. She instituted the candidate debates for the city that is still being held today. She was a member of the Cost Guard Aux. for over 30 years and held many titles. She is preceded in death by her husband George Hunt in 1981, brother James a Mitchell and sister Gertrurde Ward.
She is survived by Son, Ray C. Hunt of Dover, DE. Sister, Ruth Lance of Dover, DE. Sister, Margaret Allen of , OH. Many Nieces & Nephews.
Memorial Services will be held 09/08/2016 3 PM at St. Paul Episcopal Church in Camden, DE Burial will be at the Gracelawn Memorial Park, Wilmington, DE
