Charles E Moore, 85
Wyoming- Charles E Moore departed this life on Tuesday Oct. 18, 2016.
He was the son of the late Samuel B. Moore and Mildred Moore. He was
born and raised in Dover, DE.
Charles lived a long full filling life, spending quality time with his
family and friends. He spent many hours watching his beloved western
movies and telling his life stories to his grandchildren. Charles
enjoyed going out to dinner on Saturday nights and catching up on the
families weekly adventures. He was a member of Faith Community Church,
where he was an usher and Awana leader for 5 years. Charles loved
talking, sharing his life stories, and making new friends at Spence's
Sale on Friday evenings. Charles is a Veteran of the Army National Guard.
Charles is survived by his wife Thelma of 56 years, son Robert Moore and
his wife Theresa Moore, and his two granddaughters Taylor and Katelyn
Moore. Also survived by his brothers, Ronald Moore and his wife
Michelle, and Alfred Stockslager and his wife Vicki.
He was proceeded in death by his brothers, Larry Moore, James Moore,
Samuel Moore, Carl Moore and a sister Jean Tomlinson.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend the viewing at Trader
Funeral Home on Saturday evening between 6 and 8 pm and a celebration of
life service will be held on Sunday at 12:30pm.
