Charles Robert Barnes Sr.'s Obituary
Charles Robert Barnes, Sr. 69, Hartly, passed away Wednesday June 05, 2013 at his home with family.
He was born on August 03, 1943 in Black creek, NC to the late Charlie and Lillian Rice Barnes.
He was a member of Camden/Wyoming Moose Lodge and The Silver Lake Fishing Club. He also was a member for over 35 years of the IBEW Local 126 Electrical Union. He owned and operated Tri County Drilling for many years. He enjoyed John Deere Tractors, Gardening, and his dog "Cody". He enjoyed spending time with friends at the Pearson Corner Royal Farms. Preceded in death by his son Robert Todd Barnes, Sr.
He is survived by his Wife of 28 years, Rhoda Troyer Barnes of Hartly, DE. Son, Charles R. Barnes, Jr. of Marydel, DE. Son and wife, James Michael and Michelle Wilson of Hartly, DE. Son, Stephen E. Wilson and his Fiancee Hannah Burris of Hartly, DE. One, grandson, two, great grand children.
Remembrance Services will be held Sat. 06/08/2013 11 AM at Trinity Wesleyan Church 1564 South State Street Dover, DE Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park Dover, DE
Friends may call Friday 06/07/2013 from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover.
