Betty Marie Fath's Obituary
Betty Marie Fath (Newnom), 98, passed away on June 29 in Broadview Heights Ohio. She was preceded in death by her daughter Susan Whitney, grandson Chris Cox, and great great granddaughter Halee, husbands Ed Biondi, Ted Green, Earl Fath and sisters Libby Harris and Virginia Kooker. She was born in Farmington Del. to Myrtle and Nelson Newnom. She graduated from Caesar Rodney high school. Betty worked numerous secretarial jobs over the years beginning at Dover Air Force base and as a court reporter for the district court in Grand Rapids Michigan. After moving back to Delaware, she worked for several years at Morris James law firm where she met many of her dearest friends. She enjoyed watching game shows, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with friends. She especially loved watching Nascar and was always a huge fan of Brad Keselowski. She precedes in death by her parents Myrtle and William Harrington, She is survived by her daughters Diane (Jeff) Piatt,, Julie (Wayne) Kwiatkowski and Ken Whitney. Grandchildren Amy (Rick) Knight, Kelli (Tavis) Polinskey, Ryan (Stephanie) Piatt, Tyler Piatt, Michelle (Joe) Murdoch), Paul Cox, Jaime (Ken) Landenberger, Kylie (Scott) Kwiatkowski, Ashley (Jayme) Kwiatkowski, Chelsy (Matt) Mckinney, Great grandchildren Jacob Cole, Jasmine Cooper, Jocelyn Polinskey, Avery Polinskey, Alexis Piatt, Peyton Kowalski,, Graham and Dalton Mckinney, Caden and Grayson Landenberger, Bernadette and Sullivan Murdoch, Bree (Skyler) Lightfoot, Christopher and Kevin Cox. Great great grandchildren, Oliver and Jack Lightfoot, and Wrenlee Polinskey. A memorial service for Betty and her brother Frank Biondi will take place Tuesday July 23 at 10:30 AM at Trader funeral home with burial for Betty immediately following at Hollywood cemetery in Harrington. Friends and family may meet one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions to the Dover Elks lodge would be appreciated.
