Bertha Dunning Scotton's Obituary
Bertha Dunning Scotton, 92, Dover, passed away Friday February 10, 2017 at KGH Bay Health Dover.
She was born on March 23, 1924 in Millington, MD to the late Arley and Laura Pearson Dunning.
She was a member of Cheswold United Methodist Church, she enjoyed dinners, yard sales, and canning mustard pickle. She was a "Dairy Farmers Wife" and she worked at the Internal Medicine Office for 23 years (1985-2008) She is preceded in death by her husband J. Spencer Scotton "Dick", Brothers, Carrol "Buddy", George, Harvey, Robert "Bobby" Dunning.
She is survived by her Son, Dale S.(Deana) Scotton, Sister, Katherine Shumar, Grand Son, Dale S.(Sarah) Scotton, Jr., Grand daughter, Amanda R. Scotton, and many sister in laws, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday 2/17/2017 12 noon at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, DE Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park Dover.
Friends may call one hour before the time of the service at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover.
