Beatrice Miller was known for her feisty deliverance before departing this world on October 8, 2017. She illustrated the definition of a strong willed woman. Residing in Dover, DE with her beloved husband of 61 years, Samuel S. Miller Jr. She was born on January 14, 1940 in Magnolia, DE. Daughter to the late Floyd & Hazel Virden:
Beady loved training horses, restoring antique furniture and residing in Florida during the cold winter months.
She survived by her husband Samuel S. Miller Jr. 2 sons Jay Miller of Dover, Wayne Miller and wife Lori of Marydel, DE, 1 daughter Vickie Duke and husband David of Ellendale, DE, 5 sisters Linda Marvel, Caroline & Ray Bodine, Denelda Coppock, Norma Jean & Michael Sweeney, Nancy Ellen. 1 Brother Floyd & Maureen Virdin.
6 grandchildren Jay Miller and wife Amber of Smyrna, DE, Amber Duke of Felton, Samantha Grantland and husband Andy of Smyrna, DE, Andrew Duke and wife Ashley of Milford, DE, Dylan Miller and girlfriend Alexis Martin of Marydel, DE, Brooke Miller of Marydel, DE., as well as 7 great grandchildren, Cameron Miller, Carmen Grantland, Aubree & Anastasia Duke, Austin Walls, Corey Duke and Cody Shahan.
Funeral will be on Oct. 16, 2017 at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St. Dover, DE. Viewing 11:00 to 12:00 PM, Funeral at 12:00 PM
Interment will be at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2669 Patriots Way Millsboro, DE 19966
