Barbara Ann Davis' Obituary
Dover- Barbara Ann Davis of Dover, died Friday July 25, 2025, surrounded by her sons, Gary and Scott. She just celebrated her 94th birthday.
Barbara was born July 13, 1931, in Huntington Station, New York, the daughter of the late Raymond and Catherine Oppertt.
Barbara worked for Diamond State Telephone and Bell Atlantic for 25 years as an Operator and Clerk. She was a member of Holy Cross Parish of Dover. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports, especially basketball which was her favorite sport.
She was preceded in death by her husband MSGT Roy G. Davis. She is survived by her two sons Gary Mahoney and her daughter in law Lizbee of Wilmington; Scott and Michele Davis, of Dover; her grandchildren Kelly Mahoney, Matthew Mahoney, Zachary Davis (Morgan), Cody Davis and Jenna Davis; her great granddaughter’s Adalynne Renee and Gracie Lynne and numerous nephews and nieces.
A private family graveside service will be held on Thursday July 31, 2025, in the Garden of Honor, at Sharon Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Cross Parish, Dover.
