Arno "Red" H. Friedline Jr., 81
Dover - Arno "Red" H. Friedline passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Delaware Veterans Home in Milford. Born November 22, 1935 in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Arno and Ann Friedline.
He served proudly in the United States Air Force for 9 years. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked in security at Bayhealth Medical Center and as a greeter at the Camden Walmart. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, bowling, Nascar and woodworking. He could always be found at the local craft shows and was known to many as "The Pop Gun Man".
Arno is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Friedline; a daughter, Patti Hoffrage and her husband Ralph of Camden-Wyoming; two sons, Barry Friedline of Pennsylvania and David Friedline and his wife Vickie of Prescott, AZ; four grandchildren, Paul (Tamie) Friedline of Woodside, Stephen (Jamie) Hoffrage of Camden-Wyoming, Tyler Hoffrage of Dover and Krysta Friedline of Prescott, AZ; and four great grandchildren, Leah, Riley, Kyle and Peyton. He was proceeded in death by his son, Ronald Wayne Friedline.
Friends may call or visit with family from 5 to 7 PM on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 1 PM in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Cheasapeake City Road, Bear DE. 19701.
