I remember Marie when I was kid and we lived across the street. She was always a lovely and kind lady. With all the kids she had ,she didn't seem to mind having one more out making noise.

I remember as a kid visiting, and meeting cousins, she did always have food and asked if we were hungry, we played outside and us kids jumping off the roof of the house, not a good idea, but we all had fun, I remember how nice she was, so sorry for your loss to the family, prayers and hugs, Tina (Troutman) Toothman, Patty (Snyder) Troutman oldest daughter.
I was an "adopted" kid in this amazing family. While I knew Alice through her daughter Mrs. Jean Aiken and her family, I was always accepted (and fed very well), whenever we visited. Be it a trip out to her home, or a family reunion, the entire family are such good and solid people, with kind and caring hearts. I believe everyone followed in this wonderful woman's footsteps and her beautiful example.
I was and am truly blessed to have known her and her family.
