Founded in 1953 by Roland P. Trader, Trader Funeral Home, Inc., Inc. has served the Dover community with compassion and professionalism for more than seven decades. The business grew into a true family enterprise when Roland’s sons, Thomas and Ross, became licensed funeral directors in 1976, followed by his wife, Grace, in 1980.
Located at 12 Lotus Street in Dover, the funeral home offers a full casket selection room along with a range of urn and vault options. As a proud member of the International Order of the Golden Rule and recipient of the 2002 Exemplary Service Bronze Award, Trader Funeral Home, Inc. upholds a longstanding commitment to ethical, high-quality service.

Trader Funeral Home, Inc., Inc. was founded in 1953 by Roland P. Trader. In 1976, the family business grew when his sons, Thomas and Ross, became licensed funeral directors in Delaware and Maryland. They were later followed by Roland’s wife Grace Trader in 1980.
