Dr. Warren was my favorite professor at UR. His History of Economic Thought was the best. He made the great economists come alive with his enthusiasm in the classroom. I graduated from UR in 1971, with Econ major. Had no idea he had Delaware connections. Rest in Peace .

Sincere condolences to family and friends of Russ. I had no idea he was back in Richmond, and at Cedarfield where I have visited several times in last year or so. My bad for not trying to contact him. It is hard to believe it's been 55 years since I worked on his doctoral dissertation as his student assistant, and we were charged with task of finding a flat river rock by the then dean to use to construct a lamp for the dean's wife.
