Annamarie C. Lyttle, 75 Annamarie C. (Sral) Lyttle, also known as “Honush”, passed away in her home on October 5, 2015. Ann was born on August 29, 1940, in Portage, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Francis S. (Frank) and Marion Katherine (Mary) (Kotelnicki) Sral. Ann worked for the U.S. Government until she married her husband, Dennis, who was in the U.S. Navy, and he was transferred to Morocco. After 20 years of military life and changing duty stations, the family moved to Emerson, New Jersey, before finally moving to Dover, Delaware, in 1989. Upon his retirement, Ann and Dennis enjoyed spending their summers travelling by camper throughout the United States. Between Dennis’ military career and their travels, they were able to visit all 50 states. Ann enjoyed reading, gardening and crafts and was also active in bowling leagues before her health declined. Her greatest job was raising her children. Her biggest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Dennis G. Lyttle, and their son, Alan G. Lyttle. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Francis L. Sral and James J. Sral, and her sister-in-law, Linda Sral. Ann is survived by her son, James D. Lyttle and his wife, Cheryl A. Lyttle of Dover, DE; her daughter, Debra A. (Lyttle) Handel and her husband, Ronald N. Handel of Dover, DE; her grandchildren, David A. Lyttle, Timothy F. Lyttle, Lindsey M. Lyttle, Rebecca A. Handel and Dylan A. Handel, and her two great-grandchildren, Leonidas D. Lyttle and Ashlynne O. Lyttle. Ann is also survived by her sister Sandra L. (Sral) Shank and her husband Patrick Shank and her sister-in-law, Rose Sral, as well as nephews and nieces Donald, Christine, Francis, and Mary Lou; James, Stephen and Jeffrey; and Joseph, Michael, Amanda and Samantha. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers we had who became like second family, Angela, Jennifer, Janjah, Fern and Therese. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at Trader Funeral Home in Dover. Friends may call from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will be privately held at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels of Kent County, c/o Modern Maturity Center, 1121 Forrest Avenue, Dover, DE 19904.
